HORSE RIDES TO MONTAIONE

passeggiate a cavallo Equestrian tourism is very popular in the Tuscan countryside; at the “ Il Fregione” Equestrian Centre, among the green hills inland of Montaione, near our farm, Margherita and Vincenzo await you at their riding school.

Following the paths that our ancestors trod, you will go on trips through nature which are truly wonderful, connecting villages still permeated by life as typically it once was, guided by Vincenzo (Instructor and Senior Equestrian Guide - E.N.G.E.A.).


Margherita instead deals with the children, (Environmental Equestrian Guide Riding and Recreational Equestrian Operator for Disabled Persons E.N.G.E.A) who, with her experience, will propose a new and fun method of learning how to horseride, putting the child into contact with the horse.

The horses were born within their herd and were each personally trained such that children will take from them a sense of great tranquility and security. More experienced riders have the opportunity to ride slightly more lively horses for their entertainment.

If you are interested, we can put you in contact with the "il Fregione" riding school where you can find out more or book your lessons and trips on horseback.

The trips are conducted in the area around the riding school through the typical Tuscan countryside between Montaione and Volterra, choosing what works best for your needs.
