Activities and sports in the farmhouse accommodation

The pool has an area of about 340 square meters. equipped with a small area with a jacuzzi and a beach type gentle slope for easy entry. To the side of this, to the delight of the children, there is another pool of about 20 square meters with a slide. The swimming pool, sun beds and umbrellas are available free of charge to our customers.

The large pool is surrounded by a large solarium with fiorentino tiles covering more than 2000 square meters, equipped with shower, deck chairs and umbrellas, to ensure comfortable respite from the summer heat.

In addition, both pools are located on a terrace, well-ventilated and sunny, which dominates the Val d'Era, whose landscape invokes a sense of calm and relaxation.

Game park, tabeltennis, minifootbal, volleybal and "Bocce"

  An area equipped with swings and other games is reserved for younger children.  For children and adults "Belmonte Vacanze" provides a field for: soccer, volleyball and one for Bowls.

Horse back riding centre

Since 2010 we have just opened a new horse riding centre inside Belmonte Vacanze property. Sharon and Lorenzo and their "La Fiaba horse riding holidays in Tuscany" team, are ready to take you on exciting horse back rides down the many tracks around Belmonte Vacanze in the marvellous typical Chanti countryside between Volterra and San Gimignano. You will ride across olive trees, vineyards, woods, grane fields and you will have a stop in such places like the Castel of Vignale, the medieval hamlet of Castelfalfi, the San Vivaldo Monastery or the so called Gerusalem of Tuscany.

Trekking and Mountain Bikes

 Within the farm area of over 200 hectares, many paths are indicated, ideal for those who want to go trekking, go on excursions on mountain bike (rented at reception) or simply want to enjoy the beauty of the place with relaxing walks through the Tuscan countryside.

For example, there are some spontaneous springs of lime-sulfur water at 25°C or the "Della Pietrina" church, about 2km from where you can admire a wonderful panorama.

Barbeque

 A BBQ area is available where you can grill your favorite dishes.Do not miss to try the Tuscan experience to cook a Bistecca Fiorentina, the typical steak roasted over the fire. Oil, bread and enjoy it!

Golf

For lovers of golf, located just 7 km away, there is the " Golf Club Castelfalfi ", a 18 holes golf course and a 9 holes course combined.Probably the best place to play golf in Tuscany.  It also has a driving range, putting and pitching green, carts and trolleys for rent, changing rooms, bar, restaurant and guest house. Other golf courses are near to San Miniato, Montelupo Fiorentino, Florence,ecc....If you are looking for Golf holidays in Italy, that is the place!

Fishing

Our guests can fish in the lakes on our farm. In the wildlife that surrounds the Belmonte farm, you can observe many species of birds and if you're lucky even deers, hares, wild boars, foxes, etc...
